What it does
A classroom task that makes students weigh evidence, spot bias or test an argument, with a guide that shows what a strong answer looks like next to a surface one. It moves lessons past recall and into judgment. You name the subject and the thinking skill. The skill writes the task itself, then a response guide that contrasts critical answers with surface ones. It adds follow-up prompts the teacher can ask live and indicators for assessing the work. A worked example uses the bombing of Hiroshima. It lists known limits, so you know when to adjust. The task fits inside a normal lesson and works for any age if you state the level.
