What it does
Reports often mix three things in one voice: what was seen, what was worked out from it, and what someone hopes is true. A reader cannot tell which is which, so a guess gets repeated as a finding. This skill defines the key terms first, then sorts each claim as observed, inferred or guess. For each inference it names the observation underneath. It tests whether each claim uses the fewest causes that still explain it, and whether two separate routes support it. Guesses are rewritten as open questions. It also writes each claim in one sentence, the public claim in one line, and checks whether the data behind it is the best available.
You give it
- The report or analysis, as text
- The data it rests on, such as a sheet or results (optional)
- The decision or question it is meant to answer (optional)
- Your results (optional)
- Your question (optional)
You get
- A list of defined terms
- Every claim sorted into proven, likely or guess, with the observation behind it
- A rewritten version with guesses moved out
- A separate block of open questions
Use it when
- You are about to share a report, case study or recommendation.
- You are reading an analysis from someone else and want to know what is solid.
- A team has started repeating a claim as fact and nobody can say where it came from.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste the report. Attach the data if you have it.
- Say what decision the report is for.
- Check the sorted list. Challenge any line you think was rated too high or too low.
- Share the clean version and the open questions, not the original.
