What it does
A plan for running your carrier network: how to bid out freight, what to say when negotiating rates and a scorecard that actually gets used. It breaks a freight rate into base haul, fuel surcharge, extra charges like detention and liftgate, and minimums, so you can negotiate each part. It builds a scorecard with five measures: on-time delivery, tender acceptance, claims, invoice accuracy and pickup time. It sets a three-deep routing guide per lane, balances large and small carriers, and lays out an 8 to 12 week RFP with data prep, bids and awards.
