What it does
Most people review what they own by looking at the price. Up is good, down is bad. But a price is a mood that changes by the minute, and the thing you own is a business with results you can read. This skill reviews each holding by those results. It checks whether the reason you bought it still holds, then sorts it as keeper, watch, weak or not understood, with the figure that backs each label. Price and your own gain or loss are kept out until the end, where they are used only to show where results and price disagree. Broad funds are set apart, since they own everything. It gives no buy or sell calls and never judges from a price chart.
You give it
- Your holdings, with share of the total, date bought and why
- Several years of earnings, returns, debt and margin for each business (optional)
- How long you can leave the money (optional)
- Your results (optional)
You get
- A table of results with price left out
- A label for each holding, with the figure behind it
- A cross-check of profit kept against value gained
- A list of holdings where results and price disagree
- How much of your money sits in things you do not understand
Use it when
- You own several shares or stakes and want to review them by the business, not the price.
- A holding fell and you cannot tell if the business is worse or only the price.
- You suspect you hold things you cannot explain.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- List your holdings with the reason you bought each, in one line.
- Add the yearly figures you have. Annual report summaries are enough.
- Read the labels, then the disagreements. They show where to look next.
- Take the result to "Twenty-punch bet ranker" to rank and size what you hold.
