What it does
A quick, readable status check on the Strait of Hormuz: open, restricted or closed, and what that means for shipping and oil. Ask in plain words. The skill pulls live figures from a public dashboard called the Hormuz Strait Monitor and reads them back to you. A general question gets a full briefing: the current status and how long it has lasted, tanker crossings against normal, ships stranded, Brent oil price movement, war-risk insurance rates, cargo volume and the diplomatic situation. A narrower question, like how many ships are stuck, gets just that section. It also adds a short risk read. It uses the web to fetch data and cannot change anything. If the dashboard is down, it tells you.
