What it does
A launch you can roll back if it goes wrong. Say what you are releasing, and the skill builds a checklist that covers code quality, security, performance, infrastructure and monitoring. That includes passing tests, no secrets in code, clean dependency audits, limited cross-origin access and rate limits on login. It then plans a staged rollout so a small group sees the change first, defines what to watch, and writes a rollback plan before you start, not after something breaks. It suits any release with risk, from a first production deploy to a data migration or a beta launch. Every item is a box you can tick.
You give it
- What is being released
- Where it runs
- Your current tests and monitoring
- Who needs to approve (optional)
You get
- A pre-launch checklist
- A staged rollout plan
- What to monitor after release
- A rollback plan
Use it when
- You are shipping a feature to production for the first time.
- You are about to migrate data and cannot afford to lose any.
- You want to release to ten percent of users before everyone.
- Your team has no agreed rollback steps.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can read your project files.
