What it does
A good long source teaches a job in parts, and the order is often the method. Turn it into loose tips and you lose that. You end up with ten good ideas and no way to run them. This skill works in three passes. First it maps the source into a skeleton: each step it teaches, where it comes from, what it reads and what it makes. It shows you the skeleton and waits, so you can fix the order before anything is written. Then it writes one skill per step, in your own words, reusing any skill you already have for a step. Last, it writes the workflow that runs them in order, each step taking the one before's result, with pauses where you have to do something in the real world.
You give it
- The full text of the source, with its title, who made it and a link
- A few lines on your work, or your brand file (optional)
- The skills you already have, so it can reuse them (optional)
- Brand brain (optional)
You get
- The skeleton, each step with where it came from, what it reads and what it makes
- One skill file per step, ready to add to your AI
- A workflow file that runs them in order, with any pauses marked
- What the source left vague, marked MISSING
Use it when
- You read or watched something that teaches a method, and you want to run it again without rereading it.
- You have a long transcript from a talk or a course and want the steps as skills your AI can follow.
- You want to see how a method breaks into parts before you decide which parts to use.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste the source in full. A summary loses steps, so use the whole text where you can.
- Read the skeleton it shows you. Add, drop or reorder steps, then say go ahead.
- Save each file it gives you in its own folder, then add the folders to your AI as skills.
- Run the workflow on a real job, and fix any step that didn't work the way the source meant.
