What it does
A short project notes file that your AI actually reads, plus a way for it to save lasting facts without piling clutter back in. Repeated corrections stop being forgotten. The skill uses four layers: raw session logs, possible facts, project context and stable preferences. A fact only moves up when it shows up again across different sessions and days, never from one confident remark. Nothing lands in a committed file until you approve it. You can ask why a remembered line exists and where it came from. It runs with plain scripts, with no database or outside service.
You give it
- Your current project notes file
- Past session transcripts if available (optional)
- A fact or rule you want to check (optional)
You get
- A trimmed notes file
- A tiered store of candidate facts
- Review list for adopting or rejecting facts
- Traceable source for each remembered line
Use it when
- Your CLAUDE.md has grown so long that nobody reads it.
- Your AI keeps making the same mistake you already corrected.
- A remembered rule is wrong and you want to find where it came from.
- You want the AI to learn from sessions, but only with your say-so.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can read and write files in your project.
