AI Blocks › Build and ship software
MATLAB to C converter
Give it MATLAB code. Get C, C++ or CUDA code that is checked and tuned for speed.
MATLAB to C converter is a free AI skill for the job "Build and ship software". Give the instructions to an AI assistant that supports the required files and tools, then review its output.

What it does
MATLAB code turned into C, C++ or CUDA that has been checked against the original, and tuned for speed. Give it a function and say what you need it to run on. The skill uses MATLAB Coder. It asks for the input types and sizes first, since the generated code depends on them. For classes it uses the class signature method, not a wrapper function. It then builds code, tests it against the MATLAB version to make sure results match, and tunes settings for speed. You need MATLAB Coder.
You give it
- The MATLAB function or class
- Input types and sizes
- Target language: C, C++ or CUDA
- MATLAB Coder licence
You get
- Generated source code
- A match check against MATLAB
- Speed settings
- Notes on limits
Use it when
- You need your algorithm in C to drop into a larger product.
- A MATLAB function is too slow and you want a compiled version.
- You want GPU code from MATLAB without writing CUDA yourself.
- You must prove the generated code gives the same results.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can run MATLAB with MATLAB Coder.
