Microcontroller code deployer
Give it MATLAB code and a chip. Get embedded code set up and tested on that hardware.
Microcontroller code deployer is a free AI skill for the job "Ship and host your app". Give the instructions to an AI assistant that supports the required files and tools, then review its output.

What it does
MATLAB code turned into C or C++ for your chip, with a test that proves the generated code gives the same answers. Name the board and the code and the setup is built for you. It creates an embedded real-time configuration using MATLAB Coder with Embedded Coder, which gives production-style code with no operating system needed. It sets the hardware, either from a support package for boards like STM32 or by hand with word sizes for an ARM Cortex-M. It can switch off dynamic memory use. Then it sets up processor-in-the-loop testing, which runs the generated code on the target and compares results with MATLAB. It needs MATLAB with those toolboxes.
You give it
- The MATLAB function to deploy
- The target board or processor
- Memory or no-heap rules (optional)
You get
- A code generation configuration
- Hardware settings for your board
- Generated C or C++ code
- A processor-in-the-loop test setup
Use it when
- You must put a MATLAB algorithm on an STM32 or Raspberry Pi board.
- You need code with no dynamic memory allocation.
- You want proof the C code matches the MATLAB result.
- You are deploying an AI model entry-point function to an embedded device.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can run MATLAB with Embedded Coder.
