What it does
Numbers are easy to say and hard to feel. "Churn is 4.2 percent" means a lot to you and nothing to a new listener. If the room cannot picture a figure, they cannot act on it. This skill picks the few figures that carry your message and drops the rest. It matches each to something the audience already knows, such as a span of time or a familiar size. It turns percentages into a count of people you can picture, adds the human cost or reward behind the figure, and gives one vivid image to spark curiosity. The original number stays in view, so nothing is hidden.
You give it
- The figures you want to share, with what each measures
- Who will hear them and what they already know
- Where you will use them, such as a slide, a speech or an email
You get
- A short list of the figures worth keeping
- Each one as a comparison, a count of people or a human picture
- The original figure next to each version
- A note on what to ask a non-expert to test it
Use it when
- You must explain results to people who do not read spreadsheets.
- A report is accurate and nobody remembers it.
- You are pitching and want one number the room will repeat.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste your figures with a line on what each one measures.
- Say who will hear them and where.
- Read each new version aloud. Replace any that feel stretched.
- Test the final set on one person outside your field.
