What it does
Many talks build slowly to their best point. The room sits through background with no reason to care, then hears the news at the end. By then half of them stopped listening. This skill reverses that. It finds the fact the room will care about most and puts it in the first minute in plain words, so the audience knows what is at stake and watches with interest. It adds one clock, such as a date, a number or a deadline, so there is a reason to hurry. It marks slides that only explain and swaps each for one picture. It keeps a surprise for the end only if you have a real one, and cuts details that make people puzzle over what does not matter.
You give it
- Your talk or pitch outline, slide by slide or in bullets
- Who is in the room and what they care about
- The one thing you want them to do after (optional)
- A draft (optional)
You get
- The stakes line for the first minute
- A reordered outline with a clock added
- A list of slides to swap for a picture or cut
- A note on whether you have a real twist for the end
Use it when
- You have a pitch or talk where your strongest point arrives in the last third.
- Your slides explain a lot and the room looks bored by slide five.
- You want people to follow a talk with no briefing before it.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste your outline and say who will be in the room.
- Say what you want them to do or decide.
- Read the first-minute line out loud and change any word you would not say.
- Rehearse the new order once and time it.
