What it does
Many products look dull on camera: a tool, a bag, a jar of flour. The product is not the problem. The angle is. An angle is the reason a stranger would stop and watch. This skill finds that reason. It tries eight moves on your product, such as a format shakeup, a speed tour, a hot take or a versus. Each gets one angle and a first video idea. It then looks for the true stories in your business with six questions: what people wrongly believe, your best customer story, what frustrates your industry, what sets you apart, your strangest visual and recent news. Each story gets a target emotion and a plan. It ends with a shortlist of two, with the cost to make each one.
You give it
- Your product and category
- The price or flaw people complain about (optional)
- Founder, factory and supplier facts (optional)
- Your best customer story (optional)
- What your team can film, and a budget cap
- Customer words (optional)
You get
- Eight angles, one per move, each with a first video idea
- Five story angles with the emotion each aims at, and a short script or carousel plan
- A year-by-year founder carousel plan
- A shortlist of two, with the cost to make and a series name
Use it when
- Your product feels too plain for short video and you are out of ideas.
- A buyer complaint, such as "it is too expensive", could be turned into a story.
- You want a founder story post that you can build in about 30 minutes.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste your product, the complaints you hear, and any true facts about your founder, factory or best customer.
- Say who can film, with what, and the most you can spend on a prop or a trip.
- Add a news item from your space in the last three days, if there is one.
- Pick the two angles from the shortlist. Film one and compare the results.
