What it does
The same ad can't work for someone who has never thought about the problem and someone one click from buying. The first needs a story and no price. The second needs the offer, said plainly, and little else. Most ads land in between and suit neither. This skill uses two classic readings from Eugene Schwartz. The first is how aware the buyer is, from unaware to most aware. The second is how much the market has already heard, from a promise nobody has made to promises nobody believes. For the level, it sets five things: the first words, when the product enters, how firmly the ad asks, the length, and what usually goes wrong. For the stage, it sets how the ad argues. You paste the brief into your writer's brief. An ad written from it should open, bring in the product and ask differently from one written for the…
You give it
- The ad idea, who it's for, the reason they'd buy and the format
- How aware the buyer is, from "Buyer brief writer" (optional; it judges it if you don't)
- What your market has already heard, or what competitors promise (optional)
- Your brand file, with the buyer's main doubt, proof and offer terms (optional)
- Brand brain (optional)
You get
- A paste-ready brief of under 200 words for one level and one stage
- The first words, when the product enters, the ask, the length and how to argue, filled in for your buyer
- What usually goes wrong at this level
- One line saying why, with anything assumed labelled
- Any of its own checks the brief still misses, each named
Use it when
- You're briefing a writer, or an AI, and want the ad to fit the buyer you're aiming at.
- You're making ads for strangers and for past visitors, and want them to differ properly.
- Your ads keep pitching too early, or keep explaining a product the buyer already knows.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Describe the ad idea and the buyer in two or three sentences.
- Paste the awareness level and market stage from your buyer brief, if you have one.
- Paste the buyer's main doubt and your offer terms from your brand file.
- Copy the brief it returns into your writer's brief, word for word.
