What it does
Reddit is often one of the sources AI assistants use when they answer "what's the best X?" A helpful, honest answer from a real person at your store can put your product into the conversation buyers read. But fake accounts get banned, and a locked eight-year-old thread can't be changed by anything you post. This skill starts from the threads AI actually cites on your questions, not from a guess about where your buyers hang out. It drops locked and very old threads, picks the communities where your buyer or the problem you solve is discussed, and gives you an answer template that discloses your link to the brand. It also sets alerts and a weekly routine, and tells you how long to wait before you see any effect.
You give it
- Your buyer questions and the Reddit links AI tools cited for them
- Facts about your product and what you can say openly about rivals
- Who will post, and how many hours a week they have
- Any subreddits you already know (optional)
- Brand brain (optional)
You get
- 5 to 10 communities and the specific open threads worth answering
- An answer template that says who you are and where you work
- Alert keywords and a weekly routine
- What to expect, and how long it takes
Use it when
- AI answers on your category cite Reddit and you want to know what to do about it.
- You want a person on your team to answer questions honestly, with a clear routine.
- Someone told you to "do Reddit" and you want a plan that won't get your brand banned.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste your buyer questions and the Reddit links AI tools gave as sources.
- Say who will post (a real team member using their own account) and their weekly hours.
- Read each subreddit's rules before you post anything.
- Post a real, useful answer in your own words, using the template as a guide.
