What it does
When someone asks an AI assistant what to buy, it names a few stores and quotes a few pages. If you are not named, your own site is rarely the cause. The assistant is quoting review sites, listicles and Reddit threads that mention your rivals and not you. The steps find those pages. First it fixes one category and the five questions that matter, so the test stays the same each time. You run those questions in the assistants and paste the answers, and it works out who is named and which sources are cited. Then it ranks the sites where you are missing and prices the ways onto them. At the pause you choose three to five targets, and it plans honest Reddit answers from a real team member. No fake accounts.
You give it
- Your category, with the collection page and three or four product pages
- Who does the work and how many hours a week they have
- Five to ten rivals (optional)
- Search data or past sales (optional)
- Your brand file and product facts (optional)
- Brand brain (optional)
- Your results (optional)
- Competitors (optional)
You get
- A 90-day plan sized to your hours, with one category, five core questions and the order to publish
- A log of who each AI assistant named, linked or left out, your share of voice and a visibility score out of 100
- A ranked list of the sites and threads AI cites, in three tiers, with the placement type, cost and pitch angle
- A Reddit plan with five to ten communities and an honest answer template
Use it when
- AI answers name your rivals but not you, and you want to know why.
- You have no idea which sites and threads AI trusts in your category.
- You have a few hours a week for outreach and want to spend them on the pages that count.
Steps
- Category search plan builder: Pick one product category. Get a 90-day plan of what to publish, where, and in what order.
- AI search visibility test: Share your store and customer questions. Test AI recommendations and see named brands, cited sources and a visibility score.
- AI citation source finder: Give it five buyer questions. Get the sites AI tools keep citing, ranked, with who to contact.
- Reddit answer planner: Give it your category and cited Reddit threads. Get which to answer and what to say.
How to use it
- Download the handoff pack. It's a zip with HANDOFF.md and every skill file this workflow uses.
- Give the folder to Claude (in Claude Code, or as files in a Claude Project) and say "Follow HANDOFF.md".
- Give it your category pages and say how many hours a week you have. The plan is sized to that.
- Run the questions it writes in each AI assistant you can use, and paste the answers back. It cannot run them for you.
- At the pause, pick the three to five sources and threads to go after first.
