What it does
Ranking first for the wrong search brings visitors who never buy. A keyword with big volume may be a how-to search. A term with low difficulty may have no buyers behind it. Teams then build pages for words that look good in a sheet. This skill tests every term four ways: does the searcher want to buy, is the volume high enough, is the difficulty low enough for your site, and does the results page show a page type you can build. It uses the thresholds from the sources and says which ones it used, because the sources do not agree. It keeps one keyword per page, names the page that owns each term, picks three to five to track, and scores the list.
You give it
- Your products and collections, and what each page is about
- Keyword data from a tool, or free Keyword Planner ranges
- Words a buyer would type to find you (optional)
- Two or three rival store addresses (optional)
- How old your site is (optional)
- Competitors (optional)
You get
- A keyword table with intent, volume, difficulty, what ranks, page type and owner page
- One main and two supporting keywords per page, and rejected terms with reasons
- Three to five terms to track this month
- A score out of 100 for the list, with how it was worked out
Use it when
- You have a pile of keyword ideas and need to know which are worth a page.
- You are about to build new collections and want proof each one can rank.
- You only have the free Keyword Planner and want to know how far to trust it.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste your products and the keyword export. For free Keyword Planner data, paste the volume and bid ranges as they appear.
- Say how old your site is, since a new site uses lower thresholds.
- Check the terms it marks as keep by searching them yourself and looking at page one.
- Set up rank tracking for the three to five terms it picks, and build the owner pages.
