What it does

Teams argue about design by taste. One person likes the button, another does not, and the loudest voice wins. A rule-based review settles most of it. Ten well-known usability rules cover things such as showing where you are, using the user's words, offering a way out, keeping things consistent and preventing mistakes. This skill names the task first, then walks the design against each rule and notes every break, citing the screen or step. It ranks breaks by cost to the user, so a mistake that loses someone's order comes before an awkward label. It also marks what a review cannot settle and needs a real test with real people. The score starts at 100 and shows its deductions.
