What it does
A diagram of everything a person can do while finishing a task, including the paths where it goes wrong. You see where they might leave, and what to change first. You name one goal, such as checkout or password reset, and where users come in. The skill lists each step and marks it as a user action or a system action. It draws the happy path first, then adds branches: not signed in, a form error, a timeout, a declined card. Each branch ends in success, recovery or exit. It then marks drop-off risks, like long forms and account walls, and gives a fix for each. Output is a Mermaid diagram you can paste into many tools.
You give it
- The task to map and who does it
- Where users enter the flow
- Known drop-off numbers (optional)
- Existing screens or notes (optional)
You get
- A Mermaid flow diagram
- Decision points and error paths
- Drop-off risk notes on each step
- A list of fixes ranked by effect
Use it when
- You need to document how sign up really works before changing it.
- Support tickets suggest people get lost partway through checkout.
- You are handing a feature to developers and want every error case listed.
- You want to find which step to test first for conversion.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
