What it does
Most failed product tests were doomed before the first ad ran. The margin was too thin to pay for ads, the product solved nothing, or it was too heavy to ship cheaply. Finding that out after you have paid for stock and ads is the expensive way. This skill checks the idea first. It works out the price-to-cost multiple and the gross profit per unit, then marks 11 rules from creator videos and a Shopify guide: price band, problem, shop availability, content, shipping, rules and permits, repeat buying, SKU count and test cash. The score shows how well the idea fits the rules. A pass means the idea is worth a small test. It never means the product will sell.
You give it
- The product, or a link, and the problem it solves in your buyer's words
- Landed cost per unit (product plus shipping) and the price you plan
- Size, weight, material and shelf life (optional)
- Whether local shops sell it (optional)
- Links to videos or ads that show it, and your cash for tests (optional)
- Store capture (optional)

Use it when
- You found a product on TikTok, an ad spy tool or a supplier site and want a quick yes or no before you spend.
- You have three ideas and want to rank them on the same rules.
- A product has thin margin and you want to know the price or bundle that would fix it.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste the product, your landed cost, your price and the problem it fixes. Say which currency.
- Add size, weight, shop availability and video links if you have them. Each one removes a gap.
- Read the margin sums first. If a margin rule fails, fix the price or the cost before anything else.
- Run the 2 to 3 day test only on a go. Paste the shortlist line into your sheet.
