What it does
Generative art lives in code, which is good for variety and bad for sharing. You cannot post a running page on a poster, a profile or a product page. People end up with a screenshot at the wrong size, or a huge file that no site wants. The steps turn the piece into things you can use. First it builds the art as a page you can run, with a seed so a result can be repeated. Then it opens that page and captures sharp stills at high resolution. Last it compresses the stills so they load fast. It makes code-drawn art, not photos or pictures of people. For those, use an image model.
You give it
- A description of the look, such as mood, colours and movement
- How many stills you need and what they are for
- A computer that can run the page and a screenshot tool
You get
- An art page you can run, with controls and a seed
- Sharp stills of the piece at high resolution
- Smaller WebP or PNG files with the size saved
Use it when
- You want original art for a site, a poster or a social post.
- You want a result you can repeat and tweak later.
- You need stills of a piece, not the running page.
Steps
- Generative art maker: Describe the look you want. Get an interactive generative art piece you can tweak and repeat.
- App screenshot maker: Point it at your running app. Get sharp, high-resolution screenshots ready for Product Hunt, social or your site.
- Image compressor: Give it images. Get smaller WebP or PNG files that look the same and load faster.
How to use it
- Download the handoff pack. It's a zip with HANDOFF.md and every skill file this workflow uses.
- Give the folder to Claude (in Claude Code, or as files in a Claude Project) and say "Follow HANDOFF.md".
- Describe the look in a few lines. Name colours and a mood.
- Open the page it makes and try a few seeds. Pick the ones you like.
- Say how many stills you need and where they will be used.
