What it does
Many jobs live in one person's head. When that person is away, work stalls. A written procedure fixes that only if a stranger can follow it. Most procedures skip owners, skip what to do when something goes wrong and use three names for the same thing. The workflow writes the procedure with owners, steps, edge cases and measures. It checks it for missing owners, vague steps and no rollback. Then comes a pause: fix the gaps and ask someone who has never done the job to follow it while you watch. Bring the updated version back. It proofreads for slips and mixed-up terms, then builds a training deck from it. If the job changes weekly, a deck will go stale. Stop after the pause.
You give it
- A description of the job, in your own words or from rough notes
- Who does each step today (optional)
- What a new starter should be able to do afterwards (optional)
- A buyer brief (optional)
You get
- A written procedure with purpose, owners, steps and edge cases
- A list of gaps ranked by what to fix first
- A proofread list of slips and mixed-up terms
- A training deck with speaker notes
Use it when
- Only one person knows how a job is done and you need a back-up.
- You are about to hire or hand work to someone new.
- Mistakes keep happening because each person does the job a different way.
Steps
- Process and SOP writer: Describe how work gets done. Get a flowchart, who does what, and a written procedure with the edge cases.
- SOP and runbook checker: Give it your SOPs or wiki export. Get missing owners, stale pages and gaps, plus new SOPs to fix them.
- Technical doc proofreader: Give it an English technical doc. Get a list of typos, grammar slips, term clashes and jargon, with no rewrites.
- Presentation builder: Give it an outline or document. Get a polished slide deck for your audience in Marp, reveal.js or PPTX.
How to use it

- Describe the job step by step, or paste notes. Answer the questions it asks about owners and edge cases.
