What it does
The last hour before publishing is where mistakes get in. A number nobody checked, a sentence that could sit on any site, a guide whose answer is buried under three paragraphs of setup. Each is small. Together they make a piece nobody quotes and one reader screenshots for the wrong reason. This agent runs the same checks on every draft. It writes the one sentence the piece is trying to say and asks if the writer agrees. It lists every claim without proof and leaves those to the writer. It edits the words plain in the writer's own voice, puts the answer first in guides, and scores how easily an AI assistant could quote each passage. A low score sends it back to the editor, up to three times. Then it formats the piece and hands it back. It never publishes or changes a fact.
You give it
- The finished draft with its title, links and sources
- Your brand brain, for the voice check and the claims register (advised)
- The product's real facts, if the piece names one (optional)
- What kind of piece it is and the one sentence it is trying to say (advised)
- Brand brain (optional)
- Your offer (optional)
- Customer words (optional)
- Your website (optional)
You get
- The piece, edited and formatted, ready to paste
- Every claim without proof, with the line it sits in, for you to fix
- The one sentence the piece says, checked against yours
- The main cuts and voice fixes, each with its reason
- A quotable score per round and whether the loop passed
- The one thing your drafts keep needing, from the log
Use it when
- You publish articles or guides and want the same checks run on every one before it goes live.
- A piece went out with a wrong number once and you do not want that again.
- Your guides bury the answer and nobody quotes them.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the agent. In Claude Code, add it as a skill or save it in .claude/agents, then ask it to check a draft.
- Paste the draft, or point it at the file. Attach your brand brain if you have one.
- Say what kind of piece it is and, in one line, what it is trying to say.
- Read the claims list first and fix those yourself. Then read the piece.
- Publish it yourself. Run the agent again on the next draft; it keeps a log of what your drafts need.
