What it does
Weeks fill with the urgent. The roles that matter most, a craft, your health, the people at home, get the hours left over, and a monthly look back shows a month that was busy and not what you meant. Goals set in January are not wrong; they never got a slot. This agent steps back once a month. It maps your roles and the one or two lasting results you want in each, and you approve them. Each month it counts last month's hours by role from your calendar, names the role crowded out, and flags it when it happens two months running. It checks each key result for moved, stuck or no time made, and re-sets the goals at quarter end. Then it plans next month from values down to the week, with protected hours for hard work, and gives a crowded role one two-minute habit as a foothold.…
You give it
- Your four to seven roles, with one line on what you are about in each
- Last month's calendar as an export or a list of hours by day (advised)
- The quarter's objectives and key results, once set
- A journal or loose notes from the month (optional)
- Last month's review, once it exists
- Source text (optional)
- A shortlist (optional)
- Your notes (optional)
You get
- Hours by role, this month against last, with the crowded role named
- Each key result marked moved, stuck or no time made, and a new set at quarter end
- One two-minute habit for a role crowded out two months running
- Next month's plan from values to week, with protected hours marked
- The first week's big tasks and the small ones to batch or drop
- A quarterly call on each app, kept, cut or limited
Use it when
- Your months are busy and the things you said mattered keep getting the leftovers.
- You set goals each quarter and lose track of them by week three.
- You want a monthly habit that asks whether the time went where you meant.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the agent. In Claude Code, add it as a skill or save it in .claude/agents, then ask it to run the month.
- List your roles once and approve the map it builds. It is saved and reviewed each quarter.
- Export last month's calendar, or list the hours by day. Attach it or put it in the folder.
- Read the crowded role and the plan. Add the protected blocks to your own calendar.
- Run it again on the last Sunday of next month. It compares the rows.
