AI Blocks › Run meetings, notes and plans
Weekly review guide
Run it each week. Get open loops closed, stalled projects found and a clear plan for next week.
Weekly review guide is a free AI skill for the job "Run meetings, notes and plans". Give the instructions to an AI assistant that supports the required files and tools, then review its output.

What it does
A weekly review that ends with your open loops closed and next week planned. It refuses to call the review done until the required steps are accounted for. It follows the Getting Things Done loop in three phases. First, get clear: collect loose inputs, empty every inbox and dump what is on your mind. Then get current: check next actions, last and coming calendar weeks, and the waiting-for list. Finally, get creative: review projects and the someday list. Before you answer anything from memory, a small script scans your notes folder for unchecked boxes, TODO markers and stale files, so the review starts from evidence.
You give it
- Your notes folder or task lists
- Calendar for last and next week
- Your waiting-for list
- Stale threshold in days (optional)
You get
- Inventory of open loops
- Each loop sorted to a list
- Stalled projects flagged
- Waiting-for follow-ups
- Plan for next week
Use it when
- Your task lists have grown stale and you no longer trust them.
- You want a fixed Friday routine to close the week.
- Projects have stalled and you cannot tell which ones.
- Your notes folder is full of half-finished items.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can run code.
