What it does

After a busy week or time away, you open everything and cannot tell what matters. Mentions pile up, decisions hide in threads and half-finished jobs sit in your head. You answer what is loudest, not what is most important. The workflow starts with a digest from your connected tools: mentions, action items and decisions grouped by topic. The weekly review then uses that digest to sort every open loop into a next action, a waiting-for, a someday or the bin, and checks for stalled projects. Last, it builds one day around that list: deep tasks in the earliest long blocks, shallow work batched and a cap on deep hours. It needs at least one tool connected, such as chat or email. Without one, skip the first step.

Steps

  1. Activity digest writer: Ask what you missed. Get a daily or weekly digest of mentions, action items and decisions by project.
  2. Weekly review guide: Run it each week. Get open loops closed, stalled projects found and a clear plan for next week.
  3. Deep work day planner: Give it your tasks and calendar. Get a schedule with protected focus blocks and shallow work cut back.

How to use it

  1. Download the handoff pack. It's a zip with HANDOFF.md and every skill file this workflow uses.
  2. Give the folder to Claude (in Claude Code, or as files in a Claude Project) and say "Follow HANDOFF.md".
  3. Connect the tools you use, then say how far back to look.
  4. Answer its questions during the weekly review. Say what you will drop.
  5. Give it tomorrow's tasks and meetings for the day plan.
