What it does
Raising a price feels like a gamble because nobody can see the thing that decides it: whether the buyer thinks the offer is worth more than they pay. Alex Hormozi describes that worth in public as four parts, the size of the result, how sure the buyer is of getting it, how fast it comes and how little effort it takes. Raise those, and the price can follow. This prompt scores each part out of 25 with one line of evidence from your reviews and offer, marks any guess as a guess, and adds them to a readiness score out of 100 with what the band means. It names the weakest part in the buyer's own words, lists three to five things to add (a guarantee, a faster first result, a done-for-you step), each with its cost to you, checks your margin and where rivals sit, and gives the smallest…
You give it
- The offer, price, terms and guarantee
- The new price or a range (advised)
- Reviews, support questions and cancel reasons (advised)
- What rivals charge and include, described (optional)
- Customer words (optional)
- Competitors (optional)
You get
- A readiness score out of 100 with the sum shown and evidence per part
- The weakest part in buyer words
- Three to five things to add first, with cost and effect
- A margin check, a rival check and the smallest test
Use it when
- Costs went up and you are not sure the offer can carry a higher price.
- You have not changed your price in two years and suspect you are leaving money on the table.
- You want to raise the price and add something so it still feels fair.
How to use it
- Copy the prompt, then paste it into Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini with your offer under it.
- Paste twenty or more reviews or support messages, including the complaints.
- Read the band. Under 75, do the ADD FIRST items before changing the price.
- Run the TEST on one group for one month before you change the price for everyone.
