What it does
A step by step plan for a data analysis, with time estimates and a list of what could go wrong, made before you touch any data. It is most useful when the work has many steps or the data may not be there. It breaks the business question into smaller questions, each one answerable on its own. For each, it lists the data needed and marks it confirmed, likely or unknown, so blockers show early. It orders the steps so each result feeds the next and spots work that can run side by side. Time estimates add up to a total you compare with the deadline. A risk log and an optional kickoff document for stakeholders finish it.
You give it
- The analysis brief or requirements
- Available data sources
- The deadline and resources
You get
- Smaller questions with data needs
- An ordered plan with time estimates
- A risk and dependency log
- A kickoff document (optional)
Use it when
- You got the brief and need a plan before you start.
- The deadline is tight and you need to know if the work fits.
- You are not sure the data you need even exists.
- You want stakeholders to agree on the plan at a kickoff.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
