What it does
Most offers answer two or three problems and ignore the rest. The buyer still holds the rest in their head, and one unanswered doubt is enough to stop a sale. So a short list of problems makes a thin offer. This skill makes the list long on purpose. It follows the buyer through the stages they must go through, and at each stage asks four questions: is it worth it, will it work for me, is it hard, and will it take too long. Every answer is a problem, and every problem is turned into a promise that starts with how to. The list is the raw material for the rest of the offer.
You give it
- Your buyer: a persona, or a plain description
- What you sell and what it does (optional)
- Reviews, call notes or survey answers in the buyer's words (optional)
- Your brand file (optional)
- Customer words (optional)
You get
- The result written as a place the buyer arrives
- Stages from today to that place, in order
- Thirty or more problems sorted under the four value drivers
- A promise for each problem, with the buyer words behind it or a mark that it is a guess
Use it when
- You are building a new offer and only know a few of the buyer's problems.
- Buyers say "I need to think about it" and you cannot say what they are thinking about.
- Your offer sells the thing you make, not the result the buyer wants.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste your buyer description and what you sell. Add reviews or call notes if you have them.
- Read the stage list and fix any stage that is out of order or missing.
- Cross out any problem that no buyer would ever raise, then take the list to Delivery option generator.
