What it does
Most owners pick the first way they thought of to solve a problem, and it is usually the one they already do. That way may cost a lot and be worth little. Better ways sit one or two ideas further out. This skill forces the further ideas. It changes one thing at a time: how many people you serve at once, how much work you ask of the buyer, the medium, the format and how fast you reply. It then asks what you would add if the price were ten times higher, and how you would still deliver if it were a tenth. Each option gets a cost and a value rating so the next step can cut with a rule instead of a feeling.

- What you can and cannot deliver, such as hours per week (optional)

You get
- Five to ten delivery options for each promise, in three groups by size of audience
- A rating on cost to you and the value drivers each option moves
- The best two or three options per promise marked as candidates
