What it does
Most stores either put everything in one ad channel or spread thin across six. Both can waste money. The hard part is knowing which one you are doing, because each channel's own report says it is working. This skill looks at the whole business first: all revenue over all marketing spend, not one channel's ROAS. Then it compares your split with two real stores that spend $100K or more a day, and it says plainly which parts do not carry over to a smaller store. It uses a simple rule to pick the next channel: add money where the next dollar does best. You get a split with ranges, caps for channels you only want to test, and a short list of holdout tests that settle the claims you should not take on trust.
You give it
- Monthly ad spend by channel for the last 3 to 6 months
- Total revenue over the same months, including wholesale, Amazon and other countries
- Your gross margin after shipping and fees
- Brand search volume against category search volume (optional)
- Your split of new and returning customers (optional)
- Your question (optional)
You get
- A target split with a range for each channel and what to change first
- A list of channels to test and a daily cap for each
- Holdout questions to settle before you cut anything
Use it when
- You spend on two or more ad channels and want to know if the split makes sense.
- You are thinking about adding TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest or a creator budget and want a cap, not a leap.
- Your branded search or shopping spend looks high and you want to test whether it earns its keep.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste or attach your spend by channel for 3 to 6 months, with total revenue for the same months.
- Add your gross margin after shipping, fees and returns. The skill needs it to judge what spend your margin can carry.
- Read the split, then run the holdout tests it lists before you cut any channel.
- Come back after a month with new spend and the test results.
