What it does
Platforms each report their own return, and the number nearest the checkout always looks best. Product ads and retargeting claim sales that would have happened anyway. So adding budget where the report looks best often brings no new customers, and the top of the funnel, which feeds everything else, starves. This skill asks a harder question for each channel. If I add $10,000 next month, how much new-customer revenue does it bring? And what happens if I move $10,000 from one channel to another? It ranks channels on that, tells you when to stop adding to each one (when the extra new-customer return falls to break-even), and checks that product ads and retargeting are not eating the budget. Where you have no lift test, it says the plan is a guess and moves in small steps.
You give it
- Monthly spend by channel, and new-customer revenue by channel
- Lift test or holdout results, if you have any (optional)
- Which part of the funnel each campaign sits in, and spend by ad type (optional)
- Your break-even return on new customers, and your weekly profit and loss (optional)
- Your question (optional)
You get
- A ranking of where the next $10,000 goes, and what a $10,000 move between channels would do
- A stop point for each channel
- A test plan to measure the return on the next dollar
- A rule for how much to put into brand content and how to judge it, if you want that shift
- A fallback rule and a loss limit
Use it when
- You can add budget next month and are not sure which channel should get it.
- One platform shows a great return and you suspect it is mostly claiming sales that were coming anyway.
- Your product ads or retargeting hold most of the spend and the account feels like it is slowly declining.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste last month's spend and new-customer revenue per channel. Say which numbers come from a lift test and which come from the platform.
- Add your break-even return on new customers. If you do not have it, say so and the skill will mark it MISSING.
- Read the ranking, then run the test plan before moving more than a small share of budget.
- Come back with the test results and ask it to update the ranking.
Workflows that use it
- Find why your ad test lost and plan the next
- Move budget by buyer answers, then catch fading channels
- Plan a month of Meta ads and the budget
- Scale Meta spend while it still pays
- Set your CAC limit and test what ads add
- Win back visitors who did not buy on Meta
