What it does
A list of AWS resources you pay for but do not use, with the savings from fixing each. Point it at your account and it reviews your spending, finds the waste and tells you what to switch off or shrink. It uses the AWS command line and Cost Explorer. First it breaks spending down by service, region and tag, and flags months where cost jumped. Then it hunts for idle servers with low CPU, disks not attached to anything, old snapshots, unused fixed IP addresses, quiet databases and old storage files that could move to cheaper tiers. It checks where commitment plans or smaller instance sizes would cut cost, and adds an estimated saving for each action.
