What it does
You cannot see a rival's sales. You can see their traffic, and traffic times conversion rate times order value gives a rough revenue. Without a method, people pick one optimistic number and call it fact. This skill uses the formula from one e-commerce video with cautious inputs. Conversion is 2% for a mid-priced item and about 1.5% for a high-ticket one, inside a range of 1.5% to 3.5%. Order value is the low end of the rival's bundles and upsells. It gives you three cases, marks which inputs are guesses and compares the mid case with a bar. The default bar is $300,000 a month, and you can change it.
You give it
- The rival's store link and its monthly visits from a free traffic tool
- The price on their page, and any bundles or upsells you saw
- Your guess of their conversion rate by price point (optional)
- Your own revenue bar (optional)
- Store capture (optional)
You get
- Orders per month and revenue as a low, mid and high case, with the sums
- A score out of 100 against the bar, and a verdict of strong pass, pass or fail
- What you saw in their funnel, such as page type, offer and price
- A list of which inputs are known and which are guesses
Use it when
- You found a store selling your product and want to know if the market is big enough to chase.
- You are choosing between two products and one has a rival with strong traffic.
- You want to check that a viral product turns into real sales before you pay for stock.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Look up the rival's monthly visits in a free traffic tool and paste the number, the tool name and the date.
- Open their page as a shopper and paste the price, the bundles and the upsells you saw.
- Say whether you want the default bar of $300,000 a month, or give your own.
- Read the range, not only the mid case. Plan with the low case if cash is tight.
