What it does
A spreadsheet with one row per contract and one column per point you want to find, each answer backed by a citation to the contract text. It turns a stack of agreements into something you can sort and filter. You name the contracts and the points, such as renewal date, notice period or liability cap. The skill builds a column list with set types, tests it on a sample, then runs the full set. It separates three cases of an empty cell: the clause is absent, it was not found, or it is unclear. Values are normalised so dates and amounts compare. It does not replace a lawyer, so check key rows before you rely on them.
You give it
- The set of contracts
- The points to find in each
- Date or amount formats you want
- A sample row to confirm (optional)
You get
- Spreadsheet, one row per contract
- Citation for each answer
- Flags for absent, unfound or unclear
- Short summary of patterns
Use it when
- You must pull renewal dates from fifty vendor contracts.
- A buyer asks for a list of change of control clauses across your deals.
- You are cleaning up a contract archive before an audit.
- You want to compare how different customers negotiated the same term.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can read a folder of files and build a spreadsheet.
- Where the skill points to /corporate-legal:cold-start-interview, use the setup-interview folder inside it. We copied it in so the skill works on its own.
