What it does
A test signal for a satellite navigation receiver, made on demand. Choose GPS, Galileo or NavIC and you get a baseband waveform for several satellites. It carries real navigation data, so a receiver can decode it and work out a position. The channel effects, Doppler shift, delay and noise, can come from a realistic satellite scenario or from values you type in. That lets you test one condition at a time. It stops at the waveform, so it does not cover acquisition, tracking, decoding, BeiDou, GLONASS or sending the signal through radio hardware. It needs MATLAB, release R2026a or newer, with the matching toolboxes.
You give it
- The satellite system to simulate
- Which satellites to include
- Scenario or custom Doppler, delay and noise
- MATLAB R2026a or newer
You get
- A multi-satellite baseband waveform
- Navigation data a receiver can decode
- Channel effects applied
- MATLAB code to run again
Use it when
- You are testing a receiver and need a controlled input signal.
- You want to see how Doppler and delay change decoding.
- You need a signal with a specific noise level.
- You are building a full receiver simulation.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can run MATLAB with Satellite Communications Toolbox.
