What it does
A Google Ads account has many reports, and reading them all at once leads to vague advice like "tidy your keywords". Worse, a quick read can suggest excluding a search that quietly brings in sales, or treat a low Quality Score as the problem when it is only a clue. This skill works on one part at a time: search terms, keywords, Quality Score, Performance Max assets, Display placements, video, or bids and budgets. For each part it knows which columns it needs, and if they are missing it gives no findings and lists the export to pull. It records what it read, then lists each finding with the rows behind it, a proposed change and how to check the change worked. It never changes a bid, budget, keyword or status, even if a tool is connected to your account; you approve and make each change. Without a target, it…
You give it
- Which part to review (search terms, keywords, Quality Score, Performance Max assets, Display, video, or bids and budgets)
- The export for that part, with where and when it was pulled, the date range and the currency
- Your target cost per sale or target return. Without one, it only describes
- Your brand terms and existing negative keywords (for search terms)
You get
- A coverage note saying what it read and what was left out
- Findings, each with the rows behind it, a proposed change and how to check it
- A plain summary of the top three findings
- A MISSING list, with the exact export and columns to pull if yours won't do
- A score out of 100 for how much of that area's spend meets your target, with the sum shown
Use it when
- You downloaded a Google Ads report and don't know which numbers matter.
- You want to cut wasted searches without excluding ones that bring in sales.
- You want each change written down with its proof before anyone touches the account.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Write which part you want reviewed, for example "search terms" or "bids and budgets".
- Paste the export for that part. Say where you pulled it from, when, the date range and the currency.
- Add your target, for example "target cost per purchase $30". If you don't have one, write "exploratory".
- If it lists MISSING exports, pull exactly the export and columns it lists and run it again.
- Treat every proposed change as a suggestion. Approve it, make it by hand, then use the check it gives you.
