What it does
A free booklet, a sample or a call can bring a great many replies or a few good ones, depending on how you present it. The same offer can be dressed up to draw a crowd or dressed down to draw only serious people. This skill uses two lists. To raise replies, it makes the offer more appealing and easier to see. To cut weak replies, it makes the offer plainer, adds a small cost or a question, and tells the reader what they are in for. It picks three changes only, so you can read the result.
