What it does
Page reviews often mix three things: what's actually on the page, someone's opinion of it, and guesses about what's broken. "The add-to-cart button doesn't work" might really mean "it was grey in one screenshot", which can simply mean no flavour was picked yet. Fixes built on guesses waste time and can break what was working. This skill keeps those apart. Every observation is tied to a capture (a screenshot or page text with a date and screen size). Its reading of what that means for a shopper is labelled as a guess to test, with a change to try and a number to watch. Anything a screenshot can't show, like whether checkout works, goes in a separate "untested" list. It's a check of the page's design and words, not a test purchase.
You give it
- Screenshots on a phone and a desktop (attach them; your AI can see pictures), each with its date and the page address. The page text helps too.
- The one thing a shopper must do or understand on the page (for example, see the total price or pick a size)
- Your brand facts, such as prices, policies and claims, to compare with the page (optional)
- Brand brain (optional)
You get
- A table of what was seen, where, what it might mean, the change to try and what's unknown
- A list of what the screenshots couldn't show
- The tests that need a real browser, and the next three steps
- A task clarity score out of 100 (how clearly the captured page lets a shopper do the one thing), now and with the changes made
Use it when
- Shoppers reach your product page but don't buy, and you want to know what's in their way.
- You're about to brief a page redesign and want a list of problems backed by screenshots.
- Someone reported "the page is broken" and you want to separate what's really wrong from what just looks odd.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Take screenshots of the page on your phone, top to bottom, and one set on a desktop. Note the date and the page address.
- Attach them. Paste the page text as well, or instead of them only if your AI can't take images.
- Write the shopper's question in one line, such as "Can a phone shopper see the price and the guarantee before tapping buy?".
- Add your prices and policies so it can spot where the page disagrees with them.
