What it does
A long list of notes is hard to act on. People fix the easy items, feel done, and bring back much the same work. The big problem stays. This skill shrinks the review to a few headlines you can say from memory. It asks three questions: what to blow up, what to go back on, and what you love. It checks whether what you love now is what you set out to make. You then mark each headline Act, Test first or Decline. The skill never decides for you. It sets the next review date and writes a test for work that comes back unchanged.
You give it
- The ranked causes or problems, ideally from "Problem root cause tracer"
- A line on what the work is meant to be (optional)
- The session plan, if you have one (optional)
You get
- Three to five headlines, each with the notes under it
- Answers to what to blow up, what to go back on and what you love
- A choice sheet for you to fill in, marking Act, Test first or Decline
- A first move for this week, the next review date and a stuck test
Use it when
- You have a pile of notes and do not know where to start.
- You fixed the easy notes last time and the main problem is still there.
- You lead a project and need a clear next step and review date.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste the causes and say what the work is meant to be.
- Fill in the choice sheet yourself. Decline anything that does not fit.
- Do the first moves, then bring the new version to the next review.
