What it does
When you hand off a job by telling someone how to do it, you keep the worry. They follow your steps, and when it goes wrong they say they did what you said. When you agree on the result instead, they own the job. It takes more time at the start and saves much more later. This skill writes that agreement in five parts: the results wanted, the guidelines, the resources, how and when progress is judged, and the consequences. It checks that results can be seen or counted, keeps the limits few, starts review with the owner judging their own work, and strips out any line that tells them how to work. For a deal between two sides, it adds an exit clause and a line on telling each other early about trouble.
You give it
- The job or deal, with what, who and when
- How experienced the owner is, or what the other side cares about (optional)
- A sorted list or a third option from earlier skills (optional)
- Audit report (optional)
You get
- A one-page agreement with results, guidelines, resources, accountability and consequences
- A choice of how much structure fits the person
- An exit clause and a trust line for a two-sided deal
- A say-it-back card of five lines
Use it when
- You are handing a job to a team member, a child, a contractor or a volunteer.
- Two sides are about to agree on a deal and want the same picture of success.
- A past handoff went wrong because nobody agreed what done meant.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Describe the job or deal and name the people. Paste any earlier plan.
- Read the results line first. If you could not check it by looking, counting or reading, ask for a rewrite.
- Go through the agreement with the owner. Ask them to say it back using the card.
- Hold the review date. Offer help only the way you agreed.
Workflows that use it
- Hand off work only you do and stop it returning
- Hire the person who unblocks growth and hand over
- Take over a team as its new leader

- Reach a deal both sides will back
- Monthly contractor review
