What it does
A shelf layout that puts your best sellers in the best spots and gives each product the right amount of space. You list your products with sizes, sales rates and margins, plus your shelf or fixture sizes. It starts by asking about store type, traffic flow and goals: sales, profit or availability. Then it applies space rules. Fast sellers get more facings at eye level, which gives roughly 40 percent of sales, with chest level about 30 percent, waist 20 and floor 10. High margin items get prime spots, impulse items go to end caps and checkout, and destination items can sit at the back. More space has diminishing returns, so facings are capped by demand.
