What it does
Instead of one rough guess, you get the month your cash is likely to run out, with odds attached, such as 70 percent for October and 20 percent for November. That gives you a fundraising start date you can plan around. It looks at 12 to 24 months of net cash flow and separates the long-term trend from seasonal spikes and one-off costs like annual software renewals. Burn is then adjusted for planned headcount and marketing growth. The result is a runway in months, a trend label such as accelerating burn, and a safety window for starting a raise. It uses forecasting methods in Python, so it works best where code can run.
You give it
- Monthly net cash flow for 12 to 24 months
- A list of lumpy or seasonal expenses
- Planned hiring and marketing growth
- A profitability target date (optional)
You get
- An estimated cash-out month with probabilities
- Current runway in months
- A trend rating for your burn
- A split of fixed and variable burn drivers
- A fundraising trigger date
Use it when
- Your burn is uneven and a simple cash divided by average spend gives a wrong answer.
- You need to know the latest date you can start fundraising.
- You have big yearly costs that bunch up in certain months.
- You plan to hire fast and want to see the effect on cash-out.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can run code and read your files.
