What it does
Many businesses know their total costs and their total sales and nothing in between. They cannot say which product earns, which step wastes or which shift does better. A year-end figure is too late to act on. This skill lists every step from raw material to sale and puts a weight, count or timed measure on each. It sets a monthly cost per product, compares people, shifts or batches, and ranks products by what they earn after all steps. It names the lines that carry the business and the lines that drain it. It then picks one waste to fix first and sets the next count date, with a named person for each count.
You give it
- How each product is made or delivered, step by step
- What you buy, sell and pay for each, if you have figures
- A sales or cost sheet for a closed period (optional)
- Who does each step (optional)
- Your results (optional)
You get
- A step list with a measure for each step
- A monthly cost-per-product sheet and a weekly count sheet
- Products ranked by true earnings, and the lines that drain you

Use it when
- You know your sales but not what each product really costs to make.
- You suspect one product or step loses money but cannot show it.
