What it does
A maker with a good product often has no one selling it in your area. You could be that seller, but a vague email asking for "a partnership" gets ignored. The maker wants to know who you are, what area you cover, how many you will buy and whether you will pay. This skill plans the ask in the order that answers those worries. It writes a short paper on the gap in your market, picks the maker, plans the meeting, and sets the terms for your area and your first order. It then plans your first sales that week with no outside help and the cash to pay the supplier on time, including what happens if shipments run late.
You give it
- The product you want to sell and the maker you have in mind
- Your area and who you would sell to
- The rival products there, with their prices (optional)
- Competitors (optional)
You get
- A one-page gap paper outline built from your facts
- A meeting plan with who you are in one line, the ask and the terms
- A first-week sales plan that needs no one but you
- A cash plan for paying the supplier, with a late shipment case
Use it when
- You found a maker whose product beats what is sold near you and want exclusive selling rights.
- You want to become a distributor or reseller and have never pitched a supplier.
- A supplier has said "send me a proposal" and you do not know what it should hold.
