AI Blocks › Build and ship software
Verified code writer
Describe the change. Get code grounded in your real files, with each step checked before it counts.

What it does
Code that matches what is actually in your project: no made-up functions, no guessed imports, no placeholders. Each step is checked before it counts as done. The skill runs five steps. Discuss: agree what the change is and what it is not. Map: read the real files and build a picture of how they connect. Decompose: split the work into small pieces with checks. Execute: build one piece at a time. Verify: run the checks and confirm results. A "lazy senior developer" ladder asks if the code can be removed, reused or simplified before anything new is written. Use it for risky work like migrations and auth changes. For a typo or a throwaway script, skip it.
You give it
- A clear description of the change
- Access to the existing code
- The tests or checks you already have (optional)
- Limits on what must not change (optional)
You get
- An agreed scope for the change
- A map of the files involved
- Small steps, each with a check
- Verified code with results shown
Use it when
- You are changing database or login code and a wrong guess would hurt.
- The task touches many files and you want it grounded in what exists.
- Earlier AI code used functions that do not exist.
- You want small, checked steps rather than one large rewrite.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can run code and read your project files.
