What it does
A better machine, a cheaper supplier or a fast-growing market all sound good for the owner. In some industries they are. In others every rival gets the same gain, the price drops to match, and the customer ends up with all of it. This skill asks what stays home. For each possible change it writes two lines: what the owner keeps if only this business gets it, and what the owner keeps if every rival does too. It checks how rivals really behave, sorts the industry as commodity, brand-led or protected, and says which way technology cuts. It gives no buy or sell calls on any named security.
You give it
- The business and its industry
- The change you want tested, if any
- Recent price and margin facts, if you have them (optional)
- A report on the business's edge (optional)
You get
- A pass-through sum for each change, with both lines
- How rivals behave, with an example
- The industry sorted as commodity, brand-led or protected
- A one-line verdict on whether gains tend to stick
Use it when
- You like a business because it is growing or has a new efficiency, and want to know if that will reach the owners.
- You are comparing two industries and one seems to earn more for no clear reason.
- Someone is selling you a story about new technology helping a business.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Name the business, its main rivals and one change you are testing.
- Paste any margin or price history you have. If not, it will use marked example numbers.
- Read the verdict and the two lines for each change.
