What it does
Most competitor research is a one-time project. It goes stale, and nobody notices when a rival changes its offer, adds a new kind of ad or lowers its price. Reacting to every small change is just as bad, because most months a rival does nothing that matters. This agent keeps a short file on each rival and compares this month's ads with last month's. It uses set bars for what counts as a move. If no rival moved, it says so and stops. If one did, it compares messages, finds the ad gaps your proof can fill, and checks any cheaper newcomer for real threat. It counts structure only and never guesses a rival's spend. It never changes your ads, prices or pages.

How to use it
- Start a chat with the agent. In Claude Code, add it as a skill or save it in .claude/agents, then ask it to run this month's watch.
- Collect each rival's current ads from the public ad library on the same day each month, and put them in one folder.
- The first run builds the base for each rival and compares nothing. The second run is the first real comparison.
- Read the hand-back. Act on a move you agree with yourself, or ask for a brief for it.
- Run it again next month. It reads each rival's history file.
