What it does
When a paragraph says "she was heartbroken", the reader watches from outside. When it says "she put the key on the table and left her coffee to go cold", the reader supplies the feeling. This works in fiction, but also in a customer story, a case study or a speech. This prompt does the swap for you. It lists what really happened, finds one exact thing to show, and replaces every feeling word with what caused it. It adds no event that was not in your paragraph.
You give it
- The paragraph
- What really happened (optional)
- The voice (optional)
You get
- A rewritten paragraph in short sentences
- A list of feeling words cut and what replaced each
- The one detail it used
Use it when
- Your draft keeps saying "amazing", "devastating" or "perfect".
- A customer story reads flat.
- You want your writing to feel more real without adding fluff.
How to use it
- Copy the prompt, then paste it into Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini with your details under it.
- Paste your paragraph under the prompt.
- Add any real details you left out, such as what was said.
- Read the rewrite aloud and fix any place you trip.
