What it does
Many stores build a long advertorial (an ad written like an article) before they know which angle sells. That costs a week of work on a guess. Others send every angle to a product page, even when the buyer has never heard of the problem. This skill picks the buyer first, then the problem. It ranks each pain by how urgent it is, how many people have it and how close it is to your product. It applies two simple tests: does the product need about three minutes to explain, and is the buyer aware of the product yet? Each angle that needs a page gets one of ten identities, such as a warning or an origin story, and one of six formats matched to the buyer's main doubt. Then it plans a five-angle test so the page is only built for the winner.
You give it
- Three to five biggest pain points and desires from reviews
- Product, price and what the buyer already knows
- Customer groups you could sell to (optional)
- What rivals run, and whether they use native image ads (optional)
- Monthly ad budget and how many ads you can make (optional)
- Competitors (optional)
You get
- Angles ranked by urgency, reach and closeness to your product
- An awareness mix and a yes or no on an advertorial for each angle
- One identity and one format per angle, with the buyer doubt it answers
- A five-angle test sheet, a test order and three metrics to read
Use it when
- You are choosing which angles to run in your next ad batch.
- You are not sure whether a product needs an advertorial or can go straight to a product page.
- A rival owns the obvious angle and you need a buyer group or angle they ignore.
